    Dr. Clay Brigance, PhD, LPC

    Clay has become one of St. Louis’s leading practitioners for couple therapy, and is one of the country’s leading experts on the impacts of infertility and reproductive loss.

    Clay specializes in working with individual men, folks struggling with infertility and loss, as well as couples struggling with conflict, communication, and emotional connection.

    Blair is passionate about joining you in your life journey towards wholeness. Blair has a gentle and yet active approach in moving you towards your goals in therapy.

    Blair is extensively trained in Gottman therapy, a scientific approach to what helps couples last. Blair is also trained in EMDR. Blair works with teen girls, individual men and women, as well as couples.

    Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, but Katie is here to help you navigate whatever you're facing with care and understanding. Her calm and compassionate presence creates a safe, supportive space from the very first session.

    Katie specializes in guiding pre-teens, teens, and young women through life’s transitions. She is also trained in Gottman therapy, helping couples resolve conflict and foster a deeper emotional connection with one another.

    Missy is no stranger to helping folks navigate difficult life circumstances. Missy has a diverse skillset for a variety of issues, but with her background in special education and play therapy, Missy is especially equipped in helping parents love their kids well.

    Jeff is a very experienced counselor with a background in helping folks from various backgrounds struggling with depression and anxiety. Jeff is relational, kind, knowledgeable, and is very active in moving folks forward in their goals.

    Jeff is especially equipped to help athletes who struggle with all of the various aspects of the difficulties of sports. Jeff is also really good at counseling teen guys and men.

    Kylie Rapp, MS, PLPC, NCC

    Kylie is a former school counselor who is fantastic with pre-teen kids, as well as teens. Kylie utilizes play therapy with pre-teens when appropriate, but also engages in talk therapy to guide her clients towards more self-discovery.

    Kylie also has very specific training for infertility and reproductive loss as well, and really wants to see adult clients in that realm.

    Ginny Lupka, PLPC

    Ginny cares deeply about supporting individuals and couples navigating infertility. Through her training with the Institute of Reproductive Grief Care and Postpartum Support International, Ginny cultivates a space that is compassionate, gentle, and welcoming.

    At Shiloh, Ginny exclusively facilitates virtual mental health assessments for clients undergoing specific fertility treatments (e.g. IVF, embryo adoption, use of donated sperm, surrogacy, etc.). This service includes a 90-minute counseling session, 2-3 client-administered mental health assessments (to be reviewed in the aforementioned session), and a summary report for the client’s fertility doctor (if requested).

  • Amber Canby, BS, CIT (Clinical Counseling Intern)

    Amber comes to Shiloh Counseling as an intern with extensive experience working with kids, preteens, teens, young women, and families at her work in the Mercy Hospital Mental Health Inpatient Program. Amber has a compassionate and goal-oriented style of helping kids and teens navigate perfectionism, depression, mood problems, relationships, anxiety, and stress. She is also no stranger to helping young women navigate their unique life challenges. As an intern here at Shiloh, Amber has a reduced rate of $50 per session.

    Matthew Friesen, MAC, PLPC

    Matthew is a skilled therapist dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate all of the challenges in life that bring sorrow and hope. Matthew brings compassion and a focus on working alongside all that struggle, in areas of spiritual abuse, relational brokenness, depression, anxiety, and complex and difficult marriage and family issues. Matthew provides expert premarital counseling to build strong, lasting marriages. 

    Drawing from extensive experience in both ministry and secular backgrounds and a passion for holistic, family-centered care, Matthew helps clients move toward healing, restoration, and deeper connection in their relationships.
